Mountain Host Program - Snowbird's Mountain Host Program provides free guided tours twice each day to acquaint guests with the lifts and runs best suited for their individual skiing abilities. Alpine Tours. Experience the thrills and solitude of the Wasatch Backcountry on an Alpine Tour with Snowbird's expert guides. Heli-Skiing. If you really want to venture off the lift-accessed slopes, go helicopter skiing with Wasatch Powderbird Guides. Camp 5 Expeditions. Let mountain guide guru Alan Burgess introduce you to the beauty and splendor of Utah's Wasatch Mountains. As Snowbird's flagship, The Cliff Lodge offers easy ski-out /ski-in access, state-licensed child care, room service, retail shops and a business center. Every room in the east wing has been tastefully refurbished for the coming season and the new 24-hour ski /board locker area on level one makes getting from the lobby to the lifts both convenient and quick. (Boot dryers are built in with each locker.) Four restaurants, three lounges, and the world-class Cliff Spa and Salon make it the perfect place to come home to. After an exhilarating day on the slopes, have an apres-ski snack at the re-opened Atrium or go for a swim or soak in the pool complex on the north side of The Cliff adjacent to the ice skating rink. Condominiums. Snowbird has three distinctive condominium properties: The Lodge at Snowbird, the Inn, and Iron Blosam Lodge, which offer swimming pools and saunas along with in-room features such as fireplaces and kitchens. There are several different configurations to satisfy your family's needs. The Lodge at Snowbird and Iron Blosam Lodge also have hot pools, and the Iron Blosam Lodge is replete with a health spa. The Cliff Club. Snowbird is proud to offer 54 luxurious, award-winning shared-ownership condominiums in the completely redesigned and refurbished nine bedroom floors of The Cliff Lodge's west wing. Known as the Cliff Club, each of these rooms has been crafted into a residential comfort and decorated with simple-lined yet formal Mission-style furnishings. A short 15-minute drive from the slopes, the Club features 10 indoor tennis courts, 13 outdoor tennis courts, an Olympic-sized pool (in summer), racquetball, squash, fitness center, aerobic facilities, and Spinning classes. It is home to the National Hardcourt Tennis Championships. Complimentary transportation to the Racquet & Fitness Club is available for Snowbird guests. |
