Most of our runs were carves by god. Though it's believed the devil
carved Jupiter Bowl.
Untracked powder bowls. Meticulously groomed runs. Popping moguls.
Manicured halspipes. Whatever you're looking for you'll find in spades
at Park City Mountain Resort. Think in terms of 3,300 acres of incredible
ski and riding terrain. 100 different runs. Six incredible bowls. A 3,100
foot vertical drop. If that doesn't make your heart beat a little faster,
perhaps you should see a doctor.
You can always pack more socks, but you can never pack enough time.
Park City Mountain Resort is just 45 minutes from a major international
airport, so you can pack your socks in the morning and be on our mountain the
same afternoon. You'll feel the pressure releasing from your cranium the first
day of your vacation. And once you're here, you'll hold onto your serenity a
little longer - thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, and of course, having everything
you desire within easy grasp. It all works together to give you a little more of
what you go on vacation to find.
Forget formality, we can barely spell it. Don't pack a tie. Leave the evening
gowns at home. Park City is the place to relax, get comfortable, wear those old
kick-back jeans. Slip on some comfy shoes and take a stroll through the shops and
galleries. Bask in the romance of Victorian Main Street. Recharge your soul in one
of our many bars and restaurants. No taxi cabs buzzing around. You don't even need
a car. Park City the town and Park City Mountain Resort are one inseparable whole.
It's a world where all that you desire is just a snowball's throw away.
At the turn of the century, Park City was descended upon by free spirited adventurers,
seeking to make their fortunes. They were silver miners. A wild bunch whose lust for
life has forever left its imprint on the town. Park City is a part of Utah that is
much different from the rest of Utah. It's a genuine, and romantically nostalgic place.
Main Street looks very much like it did a hundred years ago. The old Victorian homes
still stand - and now make wonderful, intimate getaways for vacationers. Even the old
abandoned miners can still be seen on the runs of Park City Mountain Resort. When you
come to Park City, you've come to another world, and an atmosphere as lively and unique
as the men and women who built it.
If you always thought same-day access to the most exhilarating slopes on earth was a
pipe dream, maybe it's time for a visit to Park City Mountain Resort. Just catch a
flight from either coast in the morning and we'll have you perched above our 10,000'
powder bowls by afternoon. You'll be carving pristine groomers, tearing through pines,
and riding Utah's best halfpipe the same day you leave home. Of course, if you don't
mind trashing your first and last day of vacation, painful commuter flights and cruising
endless highways to get to and from the slopes, there's always Colorado.
