Known as the ski resort that has revolutionized ski-area service, Deer
Valley is nestled in Utah's picturesque Rocky Mountain Wasatch Range.
Since opening in 1981, we have committed ourselves to providing a level
of service and convenience rarely at a ski resort. Exceptional customer
service, consistent quality and attention to every detail are all part of
the Deer Valley creed. Consistently rated #1 by readers of Ski Magazine
in the areas of dining, guest service and mountain grooming, our varied
terrain, spread over four mountains, offers something for every skier.
The "Deer Valley Difference" means attention to every detail so you can
concentrate on what's really important.
Developed with the servicing concept of a first class hotel, Deer Valley's
goal is to enhance the ease of our guest's ski-vacation experience by
providing distinctive and exceptional customer service, resulting in an
uncommon level of comfort. In addition, our Central Reservations (owned and
operated by Deer Valley) means "one-stop shopping;" where just one phone call
can handle all your vacation needs.

Upon your arrival to Deer Valley Resort, you will be greeted curbside by
uniformed, friendly Guest Service Attendants who will assist you in unloading
your equipment. To avoid overcrowded trails, we limit the number of skiers on
the mountain daily. Our commitment to the finest in food quality has set the
standard for dining in the ski industry. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in
one of Deer Valley's award winning restaurants.
For the 1999 /2000 season, Deer Valley has invested over 5$ million in
improvements and enhancements throughout the resort. The addition of a new
triple chairlift in the meadow south of Red Cloud chairlift on Flagstaff
Mountain will create a new family ski area with two new ski runs and a yurt
(providing snacks and hot and cold beverages with limited seating).
The new Silver Lake Express high-speed detachable quad will replace the
existing Clipper triple chairlift, an addition that will assist in distributing
guests from the Snow Park base area and give each skier more time on the slopes.
The existing Homestake triple chairlift will be replaced with a fixed-grip quad
lift.
As the sight of the 2002 Olympic slalom, mogul and aerial events, Deer Valley
will continue improvements to those venues. In addition, we'll begin construction
on a new day lodge to the bottom of the Empire Express and Ruby Chairlifts. The
new lodge will provide additional lunch seats for skiers and is slated to be
completed for the 2000 /2001 ski season.
Other changes to Deer Valley facilities include replacing four existing snowcats -
increasing our overall snowmaking capacity and adding snowmaking capabilities to
the McHenry's ski run. Plus, we've added guest boot dryers to the Silver Lake Lodge
and added approximately 300 parking spaces to the Snow Park base area.
Share the experience this season by skiing Deer Valley Resort. We look forward to your visit.
