Nestled snugly at the base of the River Run quad lift is the River Run Plaza. As you might expect, there's also a courteous staff dedicated to meeting your every need. There are two ski mountains in Sun Valley, each affording its own point of view. Bald Mountain can be accessed at River Run on the south and Warm Springs on the north. Finely appointed day lodges, a total of 13 chairlifts and 65 varied runs await skiers on either side of the mountain. Dollar Mountain, "the finest teaching mountain in the world," caters to the needs of beginners with 13 runs and 628 feet of supportive, nurturing vertical rise. Its day lodge houses a cafeteria-style restaurant and the world-famous Sun Valley Ski and Snowboarding School. While some thrive on skiing alone, other guests welcome all the variety Sun Valley has to offer. That's why we have a full range of activities and amenities to lure you off the mountain.
