Callaway Gardens is the perfect place for a day adventure, family vacation,
social retrat or business meeting. Known for exquisite natural beauty, our
14,000 acres of gardens, woodlands, lakes, wildlife and recreation are where
you'll find many exciting activities.
Teaching others about conservation is our environmental mission and through
exciting educational programs we bring this mission into focus for thousands
each year. Our exciting and fun programs feature everything from butterfly
gardening to ecology hikes. We'll show you the importance of preserving our
natural resources and how you can do your part every day.
Everything at Callaway Gardens is grand. Visit the Sibley Horticultural Center
and you'll see what we mean. This indoor /outdoor garden complex showcases
horticultural masterpieces throughout the year. With different displays every
four to six weeks, there's always something new here. Then there's the Day
Butterfly Center where you'll be enchanted by the delicate beauty of tropical
butterflies in flight. See nature up close as 1,000 of these winged jewels
flutter freely in this fascinating glass-enclosed conservatory.
All year long there's plenty to do at Callaway Gardens. Pedal your way around
the 10-mile Discovery Bicycle Trail and you can make stops at all our major
attractions including the Sibley Horticultural Center, Day Butterfly Center
and Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl. If you're more inclined to keep your feet
on the ground, don't miss our miles of walking trails where nature puts on quite
a show. You can step back in time at the Pioneer Log Cabin or enjoy a delightful
afternoon in our 7.5 acre Mr. Cason's Vegetable garden where something's always
growing.
Our 63 holes of spectacular golf, an award-winning Tennis Center and our Gun
Club make playing at Callaway Gardens a true pleasure. We also have some of the
best fishing in the South with a fly-fishing program that includes lessons and
