Baja California is renowned as one of the world's premier sea kayaking destination - and it's easy to see why! Only a short flight from southern California, it offers over 2,000 miles of remote, largely uninhabited coastline dotted with pristine beaches perfect for camping. Its clear waters are home to a myriad of species of whales, dolphins, sea lions, and an enormous number of brilliantly colored tropical fish. Overhead, nearly 400 species of birds dart among the dramatic cliffs and coves created by the peninsula's four desert mounain chains as they plunge into the sea. Add warm winter weather, incredible star gazing, and a supply boat and camp crew to provide excellent meals and ice-cold drinks, and this is the perfect active getaway.
