 Day 1 Amsterdam
 The 800-year-old capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam is a cultural center
renowned for colorful gardens. Nicknamed "Venice of the North", Amsterdam is comprised of 90
islands and many bridges. Depending on your arrival time, you may have free time to explore the
lively open-air markets or tour one of the city's many noted museums.

Day 2 Amsterdam
 A canal boat ride is an ideal way to see the city, providing a unique
perspective highlighting Amsterdam's Golden Age. Along the way, see the diverse architecture, which
creates the perfect mix of small town and major metropolis. Tour the world-famous Rijksmuseum and
see the renowned works of the Dutch Masters. Free time allows for a visit to Anne Frank's House or
relaxing in a sidewalk cafe.

Day 3 Enkhuizen & Hoorn
 A medieval fishing center, Enkhuizen has preserved its
cobblestone streets and traditonal buildings. See the soaring Drommedais Tower and Zuiderkerk
overlooking the harbor along the Ijsselmeer.

Travel by motorcoach along the Afsluitsdyk, an amazing piece of 20th century engineering that
converted the Zuiderzee into the inland lake of Ijsselmeer, thus ending centuries of disastrous
flooding. Get a wonderful panoramic view from atop this massive structure.

Founded in 1300, Hoorn was named for its horn-shaped harbor. With a long-standing maritime history,
Hoorn was the 17th century headquarters for the Dutch East India Company. During free time, learn
about regional culture at the Westfries Museum or see some local crafts and toys at the
Speelgoedmuseum de Kijkdoos.

Day 4 Zaanse Schanase & Volendam
 A fully inhabited open-air conservation are and museum, Zaanse Schanase vividly depicts Dutch life in the 17th and 18th centuries. See several of Holland's remaining 955 windmills, som which still produce lumber, apint, flour and other goods.

A charming Zuiderzee village, Volendam's rich heritage is preserved in its quaint atmosphere, welcoming shops, bakeries and traditional costumes.

Day 5 Paleis Het Loo & Arnhem
 A favorite summer residence of the Royal Family of the
Netherlands from 1686 to 1975, Paleis Het Loo was transformed into a museum in 1984. Its buildings
and gardens have been fully restored to their original 17th century grandeur.

Nearly destroyed during WWII, Arnhem is a charming town featuring medieval architecture and beautiful parks. In your free time, visit the Netherlands' Open Air Museum, an 18-are park depicting the region's history and culture; the Airborne Museum, tracing Arnhem's WWII history through models, slides and commentaries; or the fantastic art exhibits at the Kroller-Muller Art museum and sculpture garden.

Day 6 Schoonhoven & Delft
 A charming village, Schoohoven is famous for its time-honored silverworking traditions. Your time at leisure allows for visits to local craftsmen's shops or time in a sidewalk cafe.

Day 7 Rotterdam & Keukenhof Gardens
 Boasting the world's largest port, Rotterdam's hightlights include the 600-foot-tall Euromast and Lijnbaan shopping district. The Hague, the Netherlands' administrative capital, is an elegant city comprised of museums, palaces and parliament buildings.
